Here is a video of a 600horse big block chevrolet with 3" x pipe with dumps. My camera girl missed the full throttle run up the hill. Partial throttle ....crank it up man

Did you get your tailpipes yet Todd? They really tame the system down.

Tony, the 3" sounds a little different because it is on a old school small block with a 246 / 252 duration cam, the other car with the 2 1/2" system has a LS in front of it, and those motors run tiny little cams and just sound different anyway. I love the way the LS run and the power they make, but never have a been a fan of the sound compared to a old school motor.

Well Frank, I can see where my tax refund check will be going. LOL Man that big block going up the hill with the 3inch system sounded GREAT! A aggressive tone, but not too loud, or tinny sounding. Those should sound super behind the old 468. It got a 238/248 - 540/540 cam in it and should sound clean and crisp. Thanks again for the great video! Tony:thumbsup:

Hey Vegas, that sounded BEAUTIFUL are you running a X-pipe on yours? That was perfect sounding, not too loud or tinny. How is it when you are crusing at part throttle? Interior resonance etc. Plus your car looks killer!

Appreciate it:cheers: I do have an x pipe. It seems most like the sound of my car. It's really an all business deal. Since I don't have tail pipes it's more of a throaty sound. It's really not loud unless you get on it. There is some resonance but only at a very small rpm band. I'll try and update since my trunk has been carpeted and my back seat and more insulation is going in around the rear wheel wells at the interior shop. All and all I'm happy with it right now.
