you'll be ballin if you can roll on 16s with that thing, lol :D Personally, I love it. Those original minis are great.

That's coming along nicely. Do you get Miniworld magazine from England as there's lot of useful stuff in there. I live there & mini parts are plentiful, if you need anything to finish it off just pm me & I'll try to help, cheers.....Nige:)

That thing is looking great! What gets me is the pinch welds are on the outside of the car:goofy:
|
ya never understood why they did that on minis lol. Sometimes guys do what they call as de-seaming the mini which of course is cutting the pinch weld and welding the gap up then grind down. My dad would have done this but he wanted to keep some of the cars originality because we have changed almost everything else. Later model dash, later model tail lights, later model mirrors, and corbeau Lg-1 seats with custom brackets that make them fit Perfectly in the car.

They put the pinch welds on the outside as it was quicker & easier to manufacture them, allowing the purchase cost to be kept low, as the Mini was built to be a budget car, hth.....Nige:yes: |
cool. And that color is where da gold at!
