A little late to the ball but you may also want to check out, Al Knoch Interiors, out of Texas.
www.alknochinteriors.com He's better known for Corvette interiors but has started breaking out into the 1st gen. Camaro market. Met him at a car show in Carlisle, PA. this spring. Very nice guy, easy to talk to. Had a set of 69 Pace Car Door Panels, complete with lower carpet but no outside window fuzzies, excellent quality. $350.00 a pair. After chatting for a few minutes. He offers me a Mexican Pepsi... has Rum already added. At 9:00 am, I said thanks but no thanks. Point being, he's very freindly. As we're talking. He offers to install the outer window fuzzies with factory style staples, not riveted as most would see. Needs to take them back to Texas, and use a high powered press in order to properly install the staples. He also said there would be NO extra charge and NO added shipping cost, still $350 to my door. That's Texas to Maryland, not around the corner shipping. True to his word, they arrived about 3 weeks later. Window fuzzies stapled, no problems. Could'nt be happier. Just another option to consider. |
I am going to need EVERYTHING for my doors. Panels, trim, felts....
Does anyone make this stuff for second gens? I really do not want to be stuck with the mail order re pop crap. You would think with all of the complaints the manufacturers would get it all to fit and look right by now. Thanks for any info. Eric |
year one makes some aftermarket door panels for second gens. Haven't tried them yet.
