#3 looks good to me.

Update...Finally made some progress on this part...

3 Attachment(s)
I finally made some progress and got the bumper narrowed and the Marquez Design taillights in the bumper. There are still some adjustments to make but I pocketed the quarter panel and shortened the mounts so the bumper will tuck in closer.

I shortened the mounts a long time ago and for some reason the bumper is closer on the right side. This has me wondering if the mount on one side was originally longer than the other and I didn't notice. If anyone has a 5th gen El Camino and can look I would appreciate it.

If you still have a disliking for the billet taillight retrofit,we can help. It may be possible to make a billet bezel piece to fit over the top to hide the milled flange of the billet taillight or make a new bezel without the flange. We have a shop specializing in one off parts and also a line of products for hotrods of all kinds. Let us know what you think. Jeff Bertrand www.jbmicrofinish.com

I like it! Way to incorporate cool aftermarket parts from a completely different vehicle. I like the first one a lot but could only see the next one working if your bumper ends had almost that much angle or the different angles will fight each other.

Jason,

Much of the reason I made the selection I did was because there is some angle to the bumper end. Is your suggestion to make the end of the bumper angle closer to that of the taillight? If so I would have to see how much that impacts how the bumper aligns with the quarter panel.

Thanks for the input. Hopefully someday it will ride on Rushforth Wheels.

#2 is the best i think it will flow better once on the car. #3 threee looks like it hangs over the bumper. And if you narrow it I think it will make them look huge but that is just me is your licence plate going in the middle?

I like the idea of using the 69 taillights. I've thought about myself on my wagon. I just don't think that style of light looks right. How about the RS version?
