Was the body damaged too? I hope it's still worth fixing, We'd all hate to see you give up on it if it can be brought back to life. :(

My strong advise would be to buy the car back from the insurance company if it is at all rebuildable. Somehow, cars that go through this type of crap always have more sentimental value, they just have that much more to tell in their life story.

Looks like we'll be trying to buy it back. It's just a bad situation as I know that my dad and I aren't in a financial position to have it rebuilt or to do it ourselves, especially due to us both being employed full-time. That's what really sucks about the whole thing.
From my dad's description, it sounded like it was worth trying to save, but I don't know how easy it will be. It would be fun to build it up and even take it to SEMA though. I'll keep you guys posted on our plans for it. Thanks for all the support and let's hope for the best... Kris |
