LOL I dont know if she's a keeper...She's a Ford Girl...
HAHA Yea definitly a keeper. O2's are in place thanks to her, interior is in thanks to her, driverside header is in thanks to her, brake pedal rod was lengthened (hands to big to get to the retaining clip) thanks to her, shifter hole cut thanks to her...dad, More i'm sure. No new pics yet, today was spent working on the console with gauges...I'm not that impressed with the gauge works console gauge pod...It looks warped to me (bowed in the center). Also using the engine harness from the LT1 do i need to install the senders for the water temp and oil pressure or can i put it on the factory wiring for the sensor? I know what wires go where because the place that did my wiring labled them but will that work for my application? Thanks, William |
looks great man, thanks for sharing those pic's........hotwheels

Things are looking good, better keep us updated with more pics. And I am seriously impressed with your girlfriend getting in and doing all that, and her Dad helps! Wow.

Yep, her dad has loaned alot of tools that i cant find in my mess of a garage! She does most the work on my car, i just do the things that she cant. I promise i'll take pics today and see if i can get them hosted so i can post them up for you guys to see. Trying to find a place to mount the computer for the LT1 so the wires will look nice and not look crappy in the engine bay. On the T56 clutch pedal, i have a little plate with a bend in it and a hole in the end. Do i weld that onto the clutch higher than the two holes that already exist to try and get that rod for the slave cylinder as straight as possible?
Also a friend came by to pick up a few parts and he dropped off an intake elbow including the sensor that i was missing on mine so all i need is a filter for the air intake! William p.s. Updates later on today. |
