Scott, I am running 4 3/4 BS on the front (17x8) and 5.5 BS on a 17x9.5 rear wheel. Datsbad is referring to the front BS 4 7/8. I think there are some minor differences in the 67-8 and the 69 wheel housings. What brakes are you running on the front? Do you have factory disks or do you have a C4/Baer set up? I know there are differences on the "track width" (think it is called) with the drum and disk spindles hubs. The disk style put the wheel about 3/8 inch further out than the drum hub. I would base my wheel offset on ones that are similiar to the one that you are going to use. Datsbad and Scott can give you better info on the 69 stuff better than I can. Hope this helps you.

i am refereing to the fronts BS , this is with drum spindles. disc spindles will push them out very little , enough to cause a problem if its that close.

Guys I have factory front disc brakes so is the 4.75 what I should go with?

I had factory disks on the front and went with 4.75" of BS. For the rear, I used 5.5" of BS, and that was with drum brakes to start. The tires rubbed the inner fenderwell when the body would roll hard like when entering an off camber driveway. The rubbing was very minimal - just enough to shine the paint. A few months after getting the 17's, I put Baer brakes on it and I had to roll the fenderlip just a little. I didn't know that it needed to do be done until I had 4 guys in the car. lol

Scott thank you very much. Just wanting to make the right decision before I order. I think I can handle a little rubbing until I can put disc on the rear.

Well how did they work?

Hey Scott I'm new to this form and read your question and all the replys to it. My question is how did the wheels work out? Thanks.
