If you build it they will come.

Looks like a fun car to cruise, I dont feel it is PT material, Based upon that it is to big and looks like it will roll or slide a little more then you would want it to. Plus I think vision would be limited. Other then that I would live to have one on Staturday night at the local Dairy Queen.

Speaking of... What's the story with the Ford Forty (or whatever it's called)? Will they be making it?
|
The Ford Forty-Nine was a concept from 2001, with a convertible version following in 2002. It does not seem likely to be made at this point, which is a shame, it was a good looking car (though I did not like the rear) and it was well recieved. Though it still could be made, with the Thunderbird is going away and all, maybe that means the last member of (that I know of) Ford's "Living Legends" lineup that has not been made. The GT, Mach-1, Thunderbird, and the Forty-Nine. Kind of makes you wonder.

Who could forget? |
Yeah, this kind of build has been done before and it will be done again, but if that takes anything away from it, then the same could be said for pro-touring '69 Camaros and red '32 Hi-boys. CadZZilla rocks, no doubt about it. So does Chezoom, RealMad, Speedstars, Scrape, and Lead Zephyr (just to name a few).
