No better than the Hooker Supercomps. Going to return them and have my supercomps reworked I guess by a local exhaust shop. :(

I've 'reworked' headers before to get them closer to the body. I think starting with a completed header is a fine idea. If you've got a mig, you could attempt it yourself.

Spend the money, be happy.

Damn good headers, all the vintage Trans-Am guys run them and my buddy has them on his Penske tribute '69Z,they tuck up nicely, well worth the extra $$$.
Lemon's headers are top notch as well.

Which Stahl headers did your buddy use on the Z? I bought a set a few years ago and Jere said he hadnt sold a set in like 20 years and the set I bought were on the shelf for almost that long. They did not fit a stock chassis car and hit the frame and the bellhousing bad. Jere refused to have anything to do with it and was nice enough to charge me a nice $100 return fee for his headers not fitting. Nice guy to do business with.....depending on the day and mood he is in.

I was less than impressed with them when I called as well. Dan Lemons is a good guy. That was ultimately what made up my mind.
