FWIW header wrap tends to hold moisture. It can ruin a nice sent of hand built headers. I learned that one the hard way.

That's a REALLY cool car, and I love that it gets used...a lot! Don't paint it....use the hell out of it! It looks great the way it is!

Oh, and those are some of my favorite wheels too!!

Your Camaro has really grown on me Dane. Look forward to seeing the future mods. That Momo wheel should be pretty nice.

Get Lemons headers...they'll fit....guaranteed. Not cheap but probably cheaper then "custom" ones and they are reasonably quick. When in doubt call them. You won't be dissapointed ..ask Vegas69. I have them but haven't fired anything up yet.

That type of upper alt. bracket has been known to break. I've seen some double them up.

I don't know if it was caused by the extra heat retained causing fatigue, or condensation held by the wrap, but a set of headers just crumbled away inside the wrap that were on a car I bought.

Thanks for the heads up. The car is at the shop right now getting a custom driver side header made. I'll have it coated later I suppose.
