We all had a blast. I have a few more rock chips in Jackass to go with the other rock chips. I will be interested to see how Jackass did in the style section because we had a bad feeling when the judge walked up and started by reading us the rules and telling us not to bother opening the hood. The track is building a drag strip so hopefully we can do a 0-100-0 or 0-125-0 or 0-150-0. With a drag strip I assume more bleachers and maybe the event will be open to the public.Or sell tickets thru a few websites like these.

Ditto, the event was super.I hope I am lucky enough to come back next year. This needs to be held four or five times in diff. locals.Drivers collect points and come down to a champion. This would allow more poeple to compete.Does need a lunch break,I had to eat my dioblo sandwich as fast as Buford T Justis.Scott.

As for rock chips I HIGHLY reccoment the clear bra stuff.. it's really paid for itself at this point.

If you feel better we got the same speech about how performance didn't matter in the style catagory..

The 0-100-0 is a good idea.. but more people could relate to a good old fashioned drag race.

I had a blast. Hanging out with friends and watching good clean competition was awesome. Went to both events and am definately going next year. Just wish the style part would go by by or not become the major factor as this years was. Other than that I applaud all for beating their cars and putting on a great show for us. Thanks to the sponsors for the event.

It was a great show man the Guys gave it all, I had to leave early because of the distance 1460 miles one way the show was killer good job. the 0-150-0 would be a hit:thumbsup:

It needs to be made fair, because it sure wasn't fair this year. I've talked with them about this today.

Thanks, Cam. I was a great event with great people. As I mentioned on the phone, my number one concern is the date for next year so I can start planning for the 2010 OUSCI.

I've already thrown my 2 cents in regards to each event paying points and the overall winner being based on cumulative points. I think that would be the most fair yet still be very simple.

Thanks go out to all involved - the volunteers, the organizers, and the participants. It was a real treat spending the day at Spring Mountain. I'm really looking forward to seeing the coverage on SPEED.

The event was great!

Optima has out done themselves this year...this event was much better than the first year.

Is there any word yet on when this might air?
