That sucks.

With all the parts available for 69 Camaros do you think this can be fixed? Also if the insurance pays it off would you let them take it and destroy whats left of it? I think I would want to keep it if I had a warehouse or shop to house it in. Display it instead of just letting the insurance company crush it.

what makes you think insurance companies crush cars?FYI they are sold at salvage autions to salvage yards and dealers who rebuild salvage cars

Makes you think twice to those looking at receivers and balls that are bargained priced. Not saying thats the cause, just an awareness. Ive always overkilled my load/pulling rates for extra measures and use a lock at the latch in lieu of a thin pullout pin

We just got 12" of snow last night to deal with. If my plans workout to buy a camaro this weekend I'm totally paying to have it transported.

I'm fully aware of the insurance salvage auctions. For some reason I was picturing it ending up in a Pick-A-Part yard where I have seen cars get crushed. Anyways, would you allow this to be salvaged or would you buy it back and attempt to fix it? The market for Camaro sheetmetal is a huge one and you can buy a body now along with whatever else you would need to repair sheetmetal damage. What would repairing it with replacement sheetmetal do to the value of it?
