As you can probably tell, after putting in the dash, window doesn't even need to be as big as ours is.

Another option would be to use window tinting or vinyl on the inside or outside, to get that modern look with a black border or design around the edge of the windshield

On our windshields we use the black windshield primer on the backside after masking off wth fineline tape. Its best to mark the original glass before removing so that you know the best "lines" on the new one. Works great and one of those subtle things that make the difference.
