I don't know why I did not think of Harbor Freight and we have one here in town. Previously, I check online with different providers and they were not as cheap as Harbor Freight. Many thanks and YES I'm going to use the hydraulic jacks now.

QUICK UPDATE : during my lunch hour I ran to harbor freight and was going to get two 3 ton hydraulic jacks for $39 each. To my surprise they had the 8 ton jacks on sale for the same price. :D Again, thanks for the tip Jake. :)

Jake, how did you build the pipe that turns on the vertical square tube? Specifically, my question is this, does the part that bolts to the car slide out of the round pipe or is it locked in it? This is hard to explain so let me know if you do not understand what I'm asking.

the part that attaches to the car has some 3.5 sch 40 pipe welded on to it about 11 inches long, the main upright that has the tube that slides up and down on it has a peice of 4 inch sch 40 pipe 9 inches long weldeed onto it, pipe is measured by the inside width, so the 3.5 inch is really around 3-3/4 to 3-7/8 outside(i can get exact measurement) so it fits damn near perfect into the 4 inch, just enough it turns nice.
the key is to have the peice that attaches to car be adjustable up and down as this will zero balance your car so it turns over very easy, all cars are real bottom heavy so you need to get that weight up near the pivot point, i am welding a manual adjuster on mine to adjust this as i used my engine crane to do it before.
also for jacks let me know your upright height so i can tell you tube used to go off top of jack then to adjustable height slider so that you can put it way up and down and not run out of jack doing it.
also yes the pipe does slide in, and is not locked in i have one 1/2 nut and bolt that locks it in place once car is in position. also it is very important that you center connecting bar peices fit very tight, or the end uprights will sag in big time, any little play will turn into big play at the ends.
