It has been awhile since I did an update.
The roll bar has been epoxy primed http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...28cj/146-2.jpg I started the first of a lot of block sanding and priming on the quarters to make them straight http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...Street/150.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...Street/149.jpg I thought the bodywork was finished but I had a lot of small dents in the roof I found after block sanding http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...Street/151.jpg |
Nice progress. It looks good.

looks like its going to be nice! You guys put epoxy down then filler over it? That's good, I see a lot of filler over metal these days lol.. One trick that i do is put down etch (on bare metal), epoxy, then a couple coats of urethane primer wet on wet, because the primer sands a lot easier then epoxy, and and you have more material on it so don't sand through as much when doing the mud work.. also its nice to have some primer on it to block right from the beginning:captain:

I had to move my car outside for awhile so I epoxy primed the quarters again before all the bodywork was finished. |
We had a little spare time so Brian welded up a few rust holes in the rear window channel and I did some more bodywork
