Gotta be more than 100#'s,I've been wrestling with mine for awhile...

Thanks Tyler! I called you couple weeks ago asking about it and for sure I do need a hood after see what was under the paint. I can not wait to see the pictures.

Yea me either. I am still in need of some lower torsion hood springs as well. Also not sure if the stock torsion bars for the trunk will be ok to use with the carbon deck lid.

i shot all of my sample colors today, so i had to dig the hood out anyways. drum roll............ 75lbs. now i had to sort of balance it on the scale since my 225+ the hood exceeded the scales limit, but i did it more than once and that should be pretty damn close.

there was a thread on the camaro forum about a guy that used shocks and got rid of his trunk torsion springs. he was then able to pop the trunk and have it open under some control, instead of flying open as it does in stock form. all that was required was the weight of our deck lid and the formula did the rest. i eventually will get there.......

75lbs. WOW! I wonder what the weight of the carbon hood will be? That shock seems like a trick idea. We'll see what I plan on doing when the parts come in.

Anvil is tooling off of my hood, deck lid, and a-pillars, so technically I will be getting them in trade. So count me out, otherwise i'd definitely be in.
