The Chevelle with the right suspension will ride nicer than any of your Camaro's.............. that's what I loved about mine. The full frame gives a great ride compared to the subframe cars, they look great, and even though a bit heavier they can still handle fantastic. Not sure about the super low profile tires he has, may affect ride some, but that's a nice looking car.

I have a 68 Coupe, I drove it for six seven years before putting it away doing C4 vette suspension front and rear, Porsche Cayenne brakes a SBC with a Viper T56.
I'm in the process of having some 18" BMW M3 wheels widened from 8" to 11" so I measured my wheelwells the other day and they are 13 1/2" from the lip to the wheelhouse, then you can gain another 1/2" by rolling the lip (its 1" wide approx). have a nice day! |
saw the link now, car is gorgeous! as you state it needs a manual trans and I'd suggest a suspension upgrade up front to have better geometry.

275 frt and 315 rear seems to seem about the limit without a mini tub.
