Nice project. What is that E-brake handle out of.

It's out of the same 2005 m3 I got my front seats from.. I talked the guy into throwing it in ;)

I thought so. I was looking at the same seats and e-brake for mine. Do seat seat frames look like they have some room to go down?

67greengt 06-02-2010 06:41 PM

Go down? how do you mean? I have to lower the seat platforms quite a bit to get them to sit where I want if thats what you mean? The seat is adjustable up and down though?

War 06-02-2010 07:13 PM

I meant do the seat tracks look like you can cut and raise them into the seat and not hit the motors.

I'd say no... there's quite a bit of electrical stuff under there all pretty compact..

Great looking build.
Hogans intake is going to be a PITA trying to fit under anything other than a 3-4 cowl induction hood(gt40style). Been there done that and it's still on my shelf.
What wilwood brake pedels are you going to run and are you going manual?
You asked about the removal of the side vents. I am not sure how this could be done while keeeping the glass functional. About the electric windows, may do a search to realize that there are many here that are dissapointed with the performance of some non AC delco window motor kits. May consider keeping it manual to make it easier to compress the gasket thus reducing noise.

Think I'm going to go with the Inglese 8 Stack and then machine an air box for each bank... a friend is installing one of these on a 67 fastback right now, and its pretty nice looking stuff. I'm looking at the one piece products side glass along with nu relics (after reading some not so good experience with electric life) power windows.

Hows your car coming?
