I was an offroad guy for years as well. Had almost all the Tamiya Kits, RC10s, RC10ts.... Those are insane. Have you seen the chinese knockoff ones that are nearly identical? What a shame. HPI deserves all the money they can get for that badass toy.

They're amazing out at sand dunes with paddles as well.

I have 5 1/8th scale off road cars, 2 dirt oval cars, 4 short course trucks. I enjoy taking the gas cars and converting them to electric. My 1/8 scale buggy can pull a wheelie down the back stretch and run for 30 minutes straight. Then I bought 3 go karts and now they just sit.

I spot RC cars in most shops I go into to

The short course trucks sure are a cool development from the old truggies. I always hated how the truggies didn't look cool like baja trucks. Electric/brushless is definitely changing the hobby, same with Lipo batteries. Long runtimes, incredibly fast, reliable...

Very cool guys! I need to spend the $20 for a new starter and spend some time with mine....it's been way too long since I fired it up!

I raced associated RC10 for years had 3 cars and plenty more for parts. Probably the 2nd most expensive hobby I was ever in. But I still love it.

Had several nitro cars/trucks over the years also. Great fun. Nothing beats the smell of nitro! Recently sold my Losi XXX-NT on ebay. To fund my other car hobby!
