I'd say the value is $3K to $4K at best for that model in that condition with no motor. I can see some rust around the rear window frame which could be trouble if you pulled the rear window molding and rear trunk filler panel. I'd check the metal around the trunk hinges also. Open the trunk and feel around with your hands up under those areas. They don't make replacement metal for that area behind the rear window so you have to fabricate it or get a donor car to replace it.

If it's fairly rust free, and you get it for $1K or $1.5K, you got a good deal.

I don't need to build another car, the one I have is more than capable of running with anybody with a Pro-Touring car. I'm a little rusty since I haven't raced it since El Toro. ****, I'm still sorting this one out and don't find much time to work on it right now. I will give her a call shorty however. :D

Wow nice find. I would love to find an RS like that. I have two standard 2nd gens. If you buy it I would love to buy the front end from you with a standard front end thrown in for you.

I got 2 second gens sitting in my back yard that one happens to be a RS!!

It's her friends car. He bought it brand new and it's been sitting for a long time. She said last time she checked he wouldn't part with it. It probably could be bought for more than I'm willing to pay but I don't see a steal happening.
