Pros and Cons.
Pros -protects your paint, very durable, less expensive than paint. Unlimited color and finishes. I have the hood of my truck in 3m's new brushed steel and it fools everyone. It even is textured -feels like brushed steel.
Cons- It's not paint and is almost impossible to be as perfect.
It can be kind of expensive - 2-3 G's for a complete wrap (depends on area and shop).
A lot of high end cars like Porsches, Vettes and Lambos that see track time get wrapped cuz they can throw it around and not worry about road rash.
Unwrap your car after 5 years at the end of your lease and it looks like the day your wrapped it.
