wow all three look very close I think its between the nassau blue and the altantic blue. Do you think those colors are going to be expensive?

I just squirted mine Marina blue and would like to know why the jetstream would cost so much. I know paint went up but why is everybody saying jetstream is so much more.

why is it so much money? Is jetstream the name of the company?

The Jet stream is a three stage color.. But if Standox has a single stage formula that would help cost..

for the sake of repairs and matching i tend to recommend staying away from tri-coats and picking a color that can be easy matched and repaired.. just my $.02..

I argee with you I like simplicity, actually the Jet Stream looks more on the lighter side. I think the Nassau Blue might be the color or the Ford Atlantic blue but I dont want Ford colors on my chevy lol. I appreciate your advice.

I went on Standox website and typed in Jet stream and there were no matches.

Paint code is WA 512Q For some reason my PPG book is calling it BLUE STREAM ? i Have a brand new ZR-1 in my shop right now and the color is JET STREAM BLUE ...

Go to a Dupont paint jobber and see if they sell standox, should be able to mix it in a basecoat formula. Not all jobbers can mix it if they don't have a mixing bank at the store. Joe

Doom thanks for your help. Yea the jet stream blue compared to the nassau blue I think the blue on that chevelle looks more like the nassau blue. I dont want my car with that light of a electric blue. I want it a little more on the dark side but not to dark. I see you own your own body shop any tips you can give me when I speak with the paint and body guy so I can sound educated lol. What is the most important thing that I should ask him?
