Not sure how I missed this the first go around. I have a convertible. (69) I will drag it out of the rafters and see how it looks and compares.

I just finished narrowing a 1967 fold-down rear seat for a customer of mine and documented all of it on Team Camaro (www.camaros.net) and wanted to share it with you guys since there was some interest. There are dozens of fully-detailed pics too!

My car is in a shop 2 hrs away .. is this something worth doing without the car here to fit it to ?

I did it without the car being present but-- the customer sent me measurements to follow from his mini-tubs. If I remember correctly, and please dont hold me to it... and i may even have included them in the thread... but I want to say that if you add 3" mini tubs, you'd have to narrow the seat 6 inches. 3 inches from each side. I believe that's what I did.

Ok I know this post is a little old but just did it on my 69 with dse minitubs and it worked perfectly!

Narrowed TMI seats? That's what I'm looking at doing for mine

Can these be ordered from TMI like this, or do you have to order standard size and make it fit?
