Probably more a matter of finding a supplier that was willing to do it.

i'm willing to bet costs of having it done in china were a fraction and turn around times much much faster.

but great build!

Tony,
Tisk tisk tisk, has your car been gone that long that you can't tell a front from a rear.

The more curious question, Why is it at Troy's? It was started at DSE. I would have thought it was going to be finished there.

I had talked to the person in charge at Team III wheels about the mini lites on his web site.I was wanting to have that look for my 69 camaro but I needed 18's to clear my brakes. He told me that he had a customer pay for all the tooling cost so he could be the first one w/18 inch mini lites. And as soon the customer's car was finished and shown to the public he could release them for sale.He said he would be making them in a 18x10 & 18x12 w/6.125 b.s. and 5 on 4.75 bolt c. They would cost around $800.00 each.He was kind of rude about it. Like he could care less about me,my wants or needs. So I just thought I would keep my fikse on my car, besides they are 100 times better, stronger, nicer, and I bet straighter then any pc.of crap made in china.By the time he gets around to selling them to the rest of the public Vintage wheel works will already be selling there V48 at half the price.
