Wayne, GOD bless you brother. I work at an orthopedic surgery center part time. I see first hand how hard on the body hip replacements are. Also, the rehab that comes along with it. I hate to be this way buddy, but get in on the class action lawsuit if there is one. Don't let them off the hook that easy. As if the manufacturers make everything okay by letting you have another hip surgery due to their negligence.

How do you know they were negligent? What if all their testing showed no indication that this could be a problem? Don't get me wrong, I think the manufacturer should be responsible for the time needed to heal, and for all of the medical bills, but why should anyone win the lottery because a company thought something was perfected when it wasn't? Keep that sort of thing up and sooner or later no one will dare manufacture such items, and then who do we sue?

Thanks guys. They looked at the metal/ceramic combination but they are prown to cracking. Im a big guy so the doctor figured this one would be better. I don't blame them they wouldn't have put them in if they knew. Atleast I hope they didn't know. Money makes companies do risky things.
Atleast I can sit here and watch my foundation going in for my garage. It keeps my mind off everything else.

Hang in there, and dream of the nice new garage!

Besides, it could be worse, my ex-girlfriend's father had a heart valve recalled many years ago...
