quick update little time to work on it lately but I got rear end on it just for mock up, and to verify the offset for the wheels , those on the picture belong to bmw. question for anybody in the know how dep... for the minitub how much space do I need between the inner wheel lip and the body, i'm thinking 3/4" clearance, and also how much rear end suspension travel should I expect on some hard cornering.
i'm calculating that with 5.625 back space on a 18x12 wheel will put me at 3/4" clearance on both sides considering an overall width of wheel with mounted tire to be 13.250" (would help if I had one to measure) so its just an estimate. I will most likely do a 6" back space just to be safe. |
