I have:
i. Front: 245/45/17 on 17” x 8.5” ii. Rear: 275/40/18 on 18” x 9.5” Under my 69 Camaro. I am using the stock C5 offset with 2.5" added to both sides of the rear axle (extended the 9" axle housing) and running 2" spacers on the front wheels. I have rolled my fender lip. I still get rubbing in the rear (on the inside next to the frame rail) on extreme bumps with four people in the car. There is no way those tire and wheel sizes listed will fit a stock 69 Fender. |
Well I just got off the phone and have decided NOT to go with 10'' rears. He said he could have had them made for me in the sizes that I wanted for $1100ea. :_paranoid I've e-mailed Foose and asked them if they could make them for me. I've already e-mailed them once but this time I sent a pic of my car. If they dont respond I am gonna tell them that I am getting Boyd rims :D , I bet Chip would love to hear that.

great choice - They were very easy to work with and they delivered the wheels 1 week before they promised. |
