I guess the run that mine were done from are OK as mine's been on the wall of my garage for a while with no fading. Happy hunting, Jody!

The one on my wall is faded beyond recognition. The one in the tube still is perfect. Has to be ultraviolet light or the weird California ozone!:D

I am also interested in purchasing some of these posters.
If they are available?

Jody, I have some left. I'll gladly send you a replacement. Can they be treated to provent the UV issue?

Likewise, Jody...Kris has done several renderings that I had made into posters, so I'll glady send you any duplicates that I may have left over at this time. I haven't noticed any fading on any of the posters hanging in my shop for several months...

Thanks Rick/Steve. I only had this on the later batches I got for myself (the black rendition) and the ones from Scott, Stuart, Steve, and Rick. Now I have Steve's 57 in a frame in the second shop along with Scotts first run of posters and they're perfect. These that faded were not framed, but I do not see how a loose-fitting cheapo frame and clear plexiglass is helping, it certainly isn't airtight or anything. The difference it seems is when they were printed, the company had changed machines and ink.

I am sure they can be treated or laminated to protect them. Get me some payment info and I'll get you guys taken care of. I really appreciate it!

Jody

No payment necessary. It's covered under the money-back satisfaction policy!

I just need mailing info , again :)

I think you guys are all crazy. I would have all Chris's renderings done by a true printing method, not copied. Heck, you could then have 1,000 made up of each and then sell them. The drawings are that good. I'm sure people would pay money for them at a car shows etc.

That's we did, they were full on printed in true color, full gloss on 80lb poster stock at 24x36. I spoke with them about the issues and they were quite surprised that we had any problems... which have since been taken care of... but there's still the issue with possible fading.

EDIT: Forgot to add that I'm thinking about having prints made of the 3D model that Tom Sullivan is working on. I think either a 3D exploded parts view or a cut away view of the entire car showing all the intricate pieces he has created would be pretty cool. I don't know how many (or should I say if?) I'll have made, but I know I'll want a couple for myself. :)

I'll take one, Scott!
