G-Bars need at least a 200 pound spring. I run a 225. If you have a lot of junk in your trunk you may even need 250. The goal is to have the shock travel centered. Yours may be leaking due to frequently bottoming out with those springs.

Funny, the G-Bar came with these springs, but I did get one of the early set ups about 3 years ago. I'm going to call Chris Alston tomorrow.

Mark, sorry I haven't called you. I've been a little busy. :D Just got home from RTTC 2. You need a little more shock travel and a much stiffer spring. I'd go 225-250 on a cruiser. I just put 275's in mine and they are working great.

Called Varishock today, the said I should go to a 200. I measure my shock and I'm at 7 5/8 level.

any updates on this? did the vari shocks stop leaking and what was the cause of the leak?
