What did the old plugs look like?

Im glad it runs better now.

#7 was black and wet - #2, #6 not far behind.

All of them were pretty wet and none of them looked super healthy.

Also, this car gets several short runs (8 mile or so round trips) from my house and doesn't always get really warmed up. I'm sure that isn't good either for the life of the plugs.

Yeah, that cant help much huh? Take it out and blow the crud out once in a while. See if you get more life from this set of plugs.
Glad to hear its running better.

LOL sounds like the use I get out of mine in the last year. Having twin 11 month olds makes the Camaro a nice boat anchor for a while....

Could possibly have an injector issue- bleeding down and flooding the cylinder at low speeds/light fuel requirements. Under hard throttle it may be able to use some of the extra fuel. Let us know what you find.

I have gotten so tied up again with life and pushing the 68 bird out that I haven't yet pulled the codes - and it is sitting right next to the bird...:willy:

I'll pull it soon and see what is posting in the ECM.

I agree I could have a wacky injector. #7 was really wet.

found code P0131 for the left bank O2 sensor low voltage.

I've attached the diagnostic for this.... By the way, I replaced both O2 sensors with new GM OEM sensors last May.
I have the diagnostic for this via PDF, but it is a bit too large t post.

Just to be sure......you pulled the bananas out of the exhaust I paid your son to put there right?:D

Check your wiring for your O2's, if it's close to the exhaust it could have melted some wires.
