About what Mark said for me.. sustained 1.2g is pretty common.. Highest I've ever seen on my Racepak was 1.54g reading from when Nathan hit turn one off the 117mph straight at the El Toro Run To The Coast event..

I have the Autometer d-pic in my dalily driver mustang. On clover leaf freeway on ramps I can sustain .96Gs. I have yet to install it in the falcon and see what I can do on good tires.

Using Harry's laptimer app for the Iphone I've done a lot of road course track days. As I've gotten to be a better driver I've seen a lot of .85-.9 sustained readings in corners. I've seen a few .9-.95 peak G's in corners.

The only time i've hit 1.0+ is on a 17* banked turn going from 100+ mph to 40 mph.

Sorry Mark, I had to LOL when I read this!

I'm just an HR guy so all this data doesn't make sense unless it's in a spreadsheet or a PowerPoint presentation... but your contribution to the hobby clearly goes above and beyond just building cool cars that perform!

Is it too late for me to change what I want to be when I grow up?
