Believe me I know that all to well about not being plug and play. I work for a body shop where we do all custom work and we're constantly doing fabrication. I just want to know if anyone has done it before this way I'm not wasting money on a dash. I think it will fit I measured both dashes side to side and they measure 54 1/4 if I remember correctly so the width will be fine I just have to focus on depth and getting the steering column and what not to work. Thanks, I'll be sure to post progress pics when the time comes! :cool:

Great, sounds like you know what is going on. Changes in a dash are not easy for the average folk. I'm looking forward to your pics.

that's nice. I like the dash in the new Camaros for a tribute to the '69. For a '68 I wish that the gauge pods were rounded. The square look doesn't do it for me. That's cool that DSE is doing this! They do great work.
