Too bad you can't buy those nice huge billet rallys (except in a brushed finish or a dark center) lthat Foose used on the lime green Challenger from one of the early Overhaulin's Those are some of my favorite wheels ever. I think I have seen steel larger diameter Mopar rallys that would look really cool. I think that there should be some flat black on the car.

I agree. Big brakes and some cool looking 18 inch Billet wheels that have the COP look to em. Then drop it in the weeds. You can spend a fortune on it and it is still a police car so go with that theme. You'd make the cover of any Freiburger mag for being different.
Just a thought. Oh and by the way, the lighter wasn't broken, Jake lit his smoke and tossed out the lighter 'cause he did not like the car. Believe it or not there was actually a sound effect for the lighter hitting the pavement. Man I need a life. :P |

I Thank all of you guys for these great ideas just keep them coming. Let me know anything you think would be cool on a G machine cop car. Any more ideas to modernize an old cop car . What about the interior ? Ideas ? it has the stock full bench seat in two tone blue vinyl and the stock black rubber floor covering instead of carpet. I need ideas for the door emblem I think some type of star with a logo or something written on it like "DONUT DODGE" or something else funny or cool. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44...k/BWcopcar.jpg http://www.overhaulin.com/gallery16.aspx?season=2 this is the challenger and a look at the wheels https://lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=3533 this is my other thread here with more pics This is an idea a nice guy over at pro touring.com did for me. You guys think I could do that with FLAT BLACK and White ? Thanks again guys for all the help keep those ideas coming :hail: Hank |
I agree that those wheels are too big for the look you are going for, but something in that vein, kinda like the 4th wheels on the wheelvintiques.com webpage http://207.201.148.65/pdfs/billet_002.pdf with a powdercoated dark center. I think that flat colors are really cool and also unique. Flat black above the body line and up on the roof and white below or vice versa would give you the cop feel without the blatant black fenders and quarters and white doors look. I have also been wondering what it would look like to do a flat black with a gloss black detail on top (like a gloss pinstripe on top of a thicker flat finish stripe). Somebody mentioned having a door shield that says "To protect and swerve" on it and I think that is brilliant. You could have it made on a magnet so it didn't have to be on there all of the time.

G machine cop

of those wheel vintiques I like the 10th one the 101 series billet "mirage" it has more of the police car look and would be powder coated flat black. "To Swerve in the Curves" what do you think ? TQ patrol- Trailer Queen patrol looking out for those dreaded high buck $$$ cars that never see the outside of a trailer or garage :D the gloss black/flatblack is a good idea I need to figure out how it would be incorporated http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/mopork/ansen.jpg What about these wheels powdercoated black ? they are the closest to the late model Mopar Police wheels ? |
Hey mopork dont forget these mopar police rally's from stockton wheel. http://www.stocktonwheel.com/wheels/mrlypol.jpg

The police rally Hooligan posted is my pick for the car. Those foose wheels are sooooooo sweet, but the bling factor is pretty high with them (and the price tag is a little steep).
