Nice bikes guys.
Kevin, I thought about getting a Speed Triple instead of the Duc. The decision was very tough as I really like the last of the round eye bikes. The deciding factor for me was the weight. However, I think I need to go ride a Speed Triple one of these days just to know what it's like. I may like it more. |

When I was in the Detroit area, the Triumph dealership near me added the Ducati line to his Triumph, KTM and Gas Gas lineup. He would have open house days where you could ride either Triumph and/ or Ducati. I had a chance to ride the speed triple but the Ducati sign up was so long I didn't get a chance to ride the Monsters. :willy: The owner also had a turboed speed triple. What a ride that must have been. Another bike pic. My previous bike in the foreground fresh from the showroom - buddy's R1 in the background. That was a fun summer. http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/...ics/Slide1.jpg Kevin |

My "daily driver" is an '07 R1. Sure makes the infamous 405 a lot more tolerable. (Here in CA it's legal to split lanes and use the carpool lane)
I also have a 1980 Husqvarna CR390 that is modified a bit. Actually, it's really a 250 CR with a same year 390 that was worked over by Uptite Husqvarna, '81 40mm forks, revalved Ohlins (rear), Circle F exhaust, 390CR tank, black plastic, etc. However, since I started building the '67 I haven't ridden this much at all. I had a second dirt bike (2000 Husky WR250), but sold that to buy my Miller welder. The best part is my wife also has a street and dirt bike, too. Seeing her in black leather pants.... :) |
I bought a KTM 990R a few months ago. It has been alot of fun.
