Enjoyed a great day at Best Of Show great guys doing great work. Also toured Hot Rods and Custom stuff. Super Rides and JR COMPETITION engines..
Have to thank Matt A. for the tour of the area. Bryan for the conversation and pizza. Car is kick a$$ Everyone was super nice. IF YOU are at the DEL MAR GOODGUYS WHO THIS WEEKEND come to QA1 display and say hello. |
The coastal cruise along the 101 in north county is a great way to soak up some excellent scenery. A good section coming from the north is between Tamarack and Genesee. Then hop back on the 5 south and head across the Coronado bridge and cruise Coronado island which includes the Hotel Coronado and some more coastal cruising. Cruise up to the Point Loma lighthouse also for the best views in San Diego. Besides the automotive stops others have mentioned, the Air and Space Museum in Balboa park is a good stop. Gotta love an SR-71 Blackbird. The USS Midway aircraft carrier museum in downtown is cool also with all the different aircraft they have up on the flight deck.
