I'm not quite sure Rick. I don't have the car sitting in my garage, so I don't have an easy answer for that. I believe the shop that installed the tubs followed the directions very closely. My car looks about the same as all of the ones I have seen done over at Best of Show.

Now that I think about it, the 335 BFGs might just have rubbed because my axle housing might have been off center about 3/16." I noticed the issue when I put a second set of 19" wheels with NT05s on, which had tighter outer clearances causing me dial things in to be as perfect as possible, lest one side rub on the outside. Originally I thought the taller tire shifted the axle over, but everything still seems spot after going back to 335/30/18s.

If you are really concerned about rubbing you could always go to a 315 tire. I know a lot of people like the 335 for the looks, but if you look on Tirerack's website, their measured difference between actual tread width for 315s and 335s isn't very much. For example, 315/30/18 ps2s supposedly have a section width of 12.6" and a tread width of 12.5" whereas 335/30/18 ps2s have a section width of 13.5" but a tread width of 12.7."

Long story short though, you will probably be fine. The only time I had rubbing was going diagonally into steep driveways.
