^^^^^^That's what that 23 year old kid said when I took it back over there Ron to show it to him 3 1/2 years after I bought it from him when I finshed the first build on it. He was like, "Maaaaan, this ain't the same car!!" I was like, "Yep!"

From what I'm seeing first gen Camaro still bring (or at least ask) for the good money. Everything else has fallen off quite a bit.

I've been looking at early c10 pickups and you can find some good deals on those, but the ones all done do not seem to bring any where close what they have in them from a build cost?

I looked at a 67 Chevelle the other day, really nice car all rust already repaired complete car (body and rolling chassis) needs finishing body work, gaping, just had the panels installed. 6k seemed like a good deal to me, the guy I was with thought it was to much

It really seems like you can get into a project other then a first gen for some good deals. Anyone else been looking at projects lately??

I've got a perfect 37 Ford 3 window Minotti body and a brand new chassis you could turn into a killer track car / hot rod.... I'll almost give it away! :unibrow:

You said it right there. If he want to build it for resale a first gen is probably the best bet. If your buddy is asking what a good price is I guarantee he won't get his money back when the project is done. Building for resale should only be attempted by professionals.

To me a good deal is, any car you like, that somebody else already done the metal work on to give you a solid body. That Chevelle sounds like a good deal. You could rack up $6k in sheet metal and shop time real quick. If you're getting a true solid rust free body for near $5k that is already a good deal.

The only car I've bought in the last few years was a 64 2dr Falcon wagon. Running car in primer, need front floors, haven't found any other surprises yet. $2500

GW I'll trade you the wagon and some cash for the bubbletop and you can keep the Intros.
