After seeing this thread, I went with the 8" Bowler Billet Shift Lever with the 30° kickback, Black anodized. It''s a great piece, comes with all of the mounting hardware which I didn't even expect.....nice surprise.

If there is anything positive about a project moving at a snails pace is that there are always cool new parts hitting the market :).
I went up to the Nashville GG this weekend and found Clayton Machine in the vendor area. Turns out they are getting ready to release these new shifter handles that match their pedals. Woot! Gonna come in 8" and 10" versions. There were a few cool shifter handles suggested in this thread. However, for anyone as anal retentive about some of this stuff as I am these will be the ticket. Very nice match to the pedal arm design and are coated the same. With the pedal setup http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d6...ps9130a114.jpg Both pedal designs will now have a matching shifter http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d6...psd8e5d45c.jpg |
Heard those were coming out, awesome! I am going to need a set of those.

This is another "prototype" handle they also had at the show. Apparently this one is adjustable. Those round rings around the hole hold the assembly together. I believe the top and bottom arm pieces must be splined or similar so you can disassemble it, index to one of the adjustment locations (3 or 4 I think), reassemble the unit. Pretty cool idea. They weren't sure about coating options yet but had a few things in mind it sounded like.
