For the money you could get for this 2,000 mile survivor, you could get a roller with a done body to put the suspension and motor in. It just doesnt make sense to mod a car with such low miles. There were hundreds of thousands made so it can be seen either way i guess. Good luck with the project!

That would certainly change some minds. Its a really nice car to start with. Look forwad to seeing the transformation! Those wheels will set it off more from the plain stock wheels on it now.

I wouldn't worry one bit about modifying this car even if was a 2k survivor. It's YOUR car, enjoy it as you please. And, as mentioned, they did make a lot of these. Understood that you bought a solid car to have a good foundation (which is smart, wish I had done that..), but I wouldn't shy away from some more permanent mods, especially if not doing them will hinder you from getting the end result you want (a high performning/ good handling car).
As for rims- I also vote for the first one you showed (the 2 tone) |
SO after a long and thought out break, I'm changing directions with this car and leave the car as is and look for something new.

Hope to update this thread when I find a clean shell to start with.

Its your car do with it what you want. If you use bolt on parts ,you can always change it back. just put the original parts in storage.
