Ron, that sucks.... I didn't think your house was that old... I had to have some clay replaced with cast iron on a previous property, but that one was built in 1908 so I wasn't shocked.

Heck - the Indians used to grow corn that way - and then they'd eat it too!

House was built in 57. Two remodels in early and late 2000s, everything has been replaced except for the underground part of these two sections of the line. Oh well, it'll be done by the weekend.

That really sucks...I had to replace one in 2006 when I was selling a home...Not cheap at all...I couldn't sell the home "as is" due to it being a sanitary issue...The whole damn house and 230' to the street...Plus the "city" fees....

Never good when you have to spend that kind of money on something buried...

Yeah, Greg's love overflows sometimes.

Got the project wrapped today. Gotta say these guys are good. Four days start to finish, over 110 feet of line. They even had the line working off and on for the last day and half (big relief). Only thing I'm worried about is that they could not compact the dirt under the house and driveway before pouring concrete. Wonder if it'll settle and cause problems? Contractor said their work has a lifetime guarantee and will stand behind it. We'll see...

Got any wheels for sale:rofl:
