The wheels are do in today to me i will ship to you as soon as they arrive. I am sorry for the delays i can only go by what i am told from the manufacture. I am not sure there problem but i have never had a set show up when they say they will on the other hand the Formula 43 wheels we sell are on time every time. Gav i will get you your wheels

When i was searching for wheels i was expecting based on research that it could take up to 6 months. Yes everyone knows that some wheels like form 43.. (which i didn't buy but they were second on the list) can turn them around ... put a 43 wheel next to a Fiske wheel and you can quickly see why. Also why i went Fiske over 43... the 43 wheel is not as refined as the Fiske.
It's more of a race inspired wheel with straight cuts which is easier and faster to produce.

this is a business where you have to be flexible.. assuming the OP ordered these a week or two after his inquiry... he is not all that far out from the 8 week quote...

Bob , i wasnt going to bringing you into this at all and hadn't mentioned who i was dealing with..

to put this into perspective, about 2years ago i ordered a set of fikse's thru a dealer we are all very familiar with on here some time back (now defunct) ,, after the order was placed and i paid up front 3 months past and still no wheels.. I got replys to my emails saying they are ready to be shipped over and over,, 9 months past before i got to the bottom of the issue.. I had a friend who lived nearby fikse who went and asked management about my order.. My payment hadnt been sent across to fikse , so the emails from fikse and the vendor i was was getting were not true,, and i got strung along for months,, It took me a long while to retrieve my money (5g) thru my credit card company and i still didnt have any wheels ..
so this time i saw a few posts stating the 6 week turnaround and thought things may be different this time.. Bob was a stand up guy and was easy to deal with and came recommended to me.. Im in no way am unhappy with his service ,, I think fikse still need to sharpen up there business a lot more ,, if they take 3 months , tell people it takes 3 months ,,
my problem was i was told twice there ready to ship and thought ,, here i go again..
anyways all is ok i believe and i should see them in a week ..:ups:
