You can also remove the seat pan and mount the seat to the floorpan. Sufficient structure must be added to support the seat.

The Cipher seats with the lowest brackets will give good head room. I've been running them for about a year now. They're not perfect but for the price, they are very impressive and comfortable.

Wedge makes their brackets and you can get them low or adjustable which I recommend if you're 5'8" ish or under.

Cipher is also selling the Planted seat brackets. I should be getting a set of those to try out so I'll post up some pics with information, but they look pretty nice.

I am also 6'2'' and I thought mine was all set until I went to the track and had to wear a helmet. It works but my helmet does hit the roof. Just something to consider as you are engineering your solution.
