Recaro also does some really good seats and you may want to look into there counter part offering as I'm pretty sure they'd have something in the price point too....

The Recaros have the same hardware issues, my "Sports" handles and knobs feel like cheap stuff and the back-cover, which holds the fabric tight on the edges, would allow the edges to come undone. Easy to fix, just an irritant. The "Sports" are a great seat for my build (5'11", 225lbs, narrow waist, wide upper body) and the lower thigh bolsters were less pronounced so getting in and out was easier. On a long trip these seats are the most amazingly comfortable ones I've ever experienced but when the road is twisty they grip your backside like velcro!
The new car will get a set of Recaros too, I'm thinking Orthopeds or Ergomeds. A little less aggressive seat but I'm planning on having this one well into old age! lol

I just installed Recaro Specialist M in my 68 great feel and i don't hit the ceiling anymore.:flag2: :flag2:
