Some cars have just the right amount of wrong to be cool. This car has clearly exceeded that amount of wrong, and for that reason it isn't cool... it is awesome.

What an incredible build! I cannot wait to see the packaging of everything under the hood.

Here is a picture of the initial LS fitting. No issues with it waaaay back!

Here is the way brother (Robert) found the car --- in the barn in the background for 32 years, 265 inch motor sitting between the framerails, and a picture of early disassembly that got him kicked out of the local Jaguar club. LOL

boy that will get the purists talking! :hairpullout:

I, like everyone else, LOVE IT! Probably won't ever see another one like it for sure.

Did he build the frame or was it sourced somewhere ? Looks aftermarket as most home builders don't venture outside of the 2*3 tubing but either way it looks like a nice setup, but even on a 2700 lb car I recommend power steering (easy enough to convert that rack as long as you leave room).

Believe it or not, the frame is actually the Jag frame, heavily modified by Robert. He built the front cross-member and the rear kick-ups and IRS mounting provisions. As for the power steering, Robert informs me that I lied. The weight, with everything stacked on the car on scales, is closer to 2100#. Tony Woodward felt that would be light enough for manual steering.

Does he know what accessories he is going to be running. The slope on the front of the hood makes me think it is going to have to be almost 100% custom.

I also love the fact he was kicked out of the Jaguar club. That is hilarious.

The boffin's will be going crazy over this one.

Custom brackets for an alternator, and perhaps a dry sump pump down the road. A little off subject, but he is pretty good at stuffing lots of Chevy muscle in tight spaces.

Like a 434 inch small block, injected on alcohol in an Anglia

Or a small block with air and power windows and upgraded suspension in a Citreon

Attachment 41172

Okay, not so small, but an 8.1 liter big block with vintage air, leather air ride seats, upgraded front independant suspenion -- in an old Ford cabover - pro-touring tow truck?
