The rendering looks great. good luck!:bigun2:

Good assumption...but actually Code 510 is the police radio codes for Excessive Speeding/Racing Vehicles. :)

Nice build. You will love the CBR suspension upgrades. Quality parts that will yield a huge improvement.

I too have a new "tanks" tank in my Nova as well. Installed it early in the summer. I've got about 6K miles on it and love it. I've drained the tank dry with no issues. I'm running a TBI setup. Eventually will go LS, and this tank will make it easier.

Awesome! Good to hear feedback on both items. Chuck Church is definitely a wealth of knowledge and pretty impressive the stuff he's come up with. He told me once I get his whole set up on the front of this Nova, it will out handle my Chevelle that has all the goodies bolted on it. I'm anxious to find out, since right now it handles like a wooden canoe!

Also good to hear about the Tanks gas tank. In a few hours I'm going to bolt that in and get it going. I just had to get a couple of fittings.

Small update from the weekend:

I got the "Tanks Inc" gas tank installed. Fit like a champ! I was happy that I didn't have to massage, dent, grind, weld, or anything else to make the tank fit. There is about 3/8" to 1/2" of room above the fittings before the trunk floor. Not really enough to get a wrench in there, but enough that no rubbing will happen.

Drove the car around for about 20 minutes and it was perfect! This pump is much quieter than the old set up as well. The fuel gauge was spot on too, so at least now I know when I'll run out of gas.

Got a small shipment in this morning as well. A new set of shoes!! Continental tires.

Here's the current rim/tire set up from the early 90's...so we are definitely looking forward to the update!

The rendering is a 66, ours is a 67. We just used an image that we had, not one of the actual car. Sharp eye though!

SEMA is getting close!!! And I'm still waiting on parts to show up. I did make some progress yesterday though.

I opted for a set of Spyder headlights. I felt this will help tone down all the chrome on the front end.

Before:

After:

I got the rear disc brakes installed as well:

Here's the car as it sits! Still have to do the front end, gauges, and vinyl wrap. I guess its not SEMA unless you're crunching to finish!

Here is a teaser photo from the wheel company as well. These should be completed from the powder coaters this week:

Slowly but surely! Can't wait to see the 67 Nova you are building. It will blow this one out of the water!

Here's some updates! SEMA is only a few days away. Getting very close!

Had some boxes show up on Friday:

Unpackaged goodness:
http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps5ccdb1be.jpg

This a complete Church Boys Racing Rack and Pinion front end. Talking with Church Boys he said this will make this sloppy Nova handle better than my Chevelle.

Rear arm and front brace installed:

Upper control arm:

Look at how nice and thick the upper control arm cross shaft is, a quality piece indeed:
http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps0d9fc58b.jpg

We went with Viking Performance Dual Adjustable coil-overs. These are amazingly nice pieces. The ones on my Chevelle work incredible, I can't imagine a car without them:
http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...pscef73f99.jpg

I got the rack and pinion bolted up, but I have to make some modifications to make it fit:
http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...pse1ea30fc.jpg
These Nova's are front sump, rear steer. Now its going to be front steer with the R&P. Well the engine has an aftermarket deep front sump oil pan for the engine which didn't work with the R&P, but a factory pan would. So I'm in the process of notching it to fit.
