the valves aren't new, rockers are complete with exception to some of the shims for the rockers. I have some of them but not sure where they all are. You can get a bag of shims from Jesel for a couple bucks. No pushrods.

The rockers are in great shape and have a couple of seasons on them but if the buyer doesn't want them i will reuse them, i was just trying to sweeten the deal by including them. If you want more pics i have a bunch just let me know.

ad states recently freshened, so that was just new springs? what would the price be without rockers? what does a "couple of seasons" mean? what combination were these heads used on? nitrous? any piston or valve damage previously?

They were on a 486ci N/A car that i raced for 3 seasons so there are maybe a dozen events on them and maybe 5K street miles after i pulled it and sold the car. The heads were cleaned, checked, and any unusable/worn items replaced during that time. The heads have been sitting since as we started a family and didn't have time/money for cars (been approx 3-4yrs or so they have been sitting). There have been no repairs done to the heads.

Would these heads be over kill for a 396?

ehh.. according to compression and cam profile.

Would be a little much for them but would leave the door open if you ever decide to bore/stroke it and not have to switch heads.
