The new 20v Lith Dewalts are fantastic. I picked up the set this year and love them. It's amazing how light and powerful they are.

Once I switched over to the makita drill and impact I sold off all my dewalt and Milwaukee drills and battery powered tools! My vote is for makita hands down the best as I and the guys in the shop beat on them every day and they hold up! Just make sure you buy the. 18v models and the battery's must be 3ah li-ion. Buy a good combo kit to get the extra battery's and tools and you won't be disappointed!

1-2-3.. I guess 4ths on this one!! My kit actually has the low profile 20v batteries.

I had a Ryobi kit loved (and renovated 3 houses with) for nearly 10 years with the old batteries and then upgraded to the new style with the new batteries about 3 years ago and it was a piece of crap. About a year ago I bought the Dewalt 20v kit with the drill and 3/8" impact about a year ago and LOVE them. I'm using/abusing them all day, every day and they have been great.
