Just sayin

Don't listen to the haters. Have fun but know that the money you spend on it you won't get back.

I'll clean it up this weekend and post it for sale, if it doesn't sell I'm starting a build thread! :computer:
I'm a little surprised nobody has spoke up about the chump car series or Lemons. The last local auto-x I attended had quite a few low budget Miatas, 80's mustangs and just plain old beaters. Most the people I talked with had another car that was more competitive but were just running the beater for fun. Last me ask you all this, what were you driving in 78? Dan |

http://sieg.smugmug.com/Other/Cycles...File0014-M.jpg My girlfriend had a Mustang II at the time. Before the Toyota it was a Datsun L.....ong bed pickup! Door's open Dan, you owe me one. :D |

Do that Dan, and we will have to respond with extreme prejudice. :goggles: |
Dan --- All I remember is that it WAS NOT a Mustang II.....
LOL I was driving a BMW 320i having traded in my '76 2002 on the "new" body style. I must admit to trading in a '74 Cougar XR7 on the 2002.... and the Cougar was every bit as bad as your II.... |
I have a friend who owns one. It came with a 302, and the ugly little car is a blast to ride in, as long as you don't come across anybody who you know. Something like that gets facebooked, or Instagramed, and your finished. Lol!
All kidding aside, as Charley stated, you could absolutely enjoy this car as a track car, but do your homework up front, concerning how much your going to spend to make this car "racey". :G-Dub: |
