I had the tough job of being the test driver for Super Chevy, so got to spend a considerable amount of seat time out on the track in both my car as well as the new Z28.
I can say without a doubt that I am a converted 5th gen lover due to the incredible job Mark and his team did with this car. This car can take an average driver and make them feel like they are ready to sign onto an F1 team. The car keeps you in control allowing you to focus on the thrill ride in front of you. It will break so deep that your mind tells you every lap you will not make it out of the turn, yet you do with ease. Every press release reads the same way but are just words and pictures. If you ever get a chance to jump behind the wheel take it. You will never look at a 5th gen the same again. |

I am a True Ford guy but I think FoMoCo has a long long way to even equal the new Z-28 much less beat it. Its been 31yrs since my last new Camaro and if I had the $$ today I would have a new Z-28 in Red in my garage. |
What amazes me is the kind of performance they can get despite the curb weight.

Mark will the Z/28's from the test be crushed or what will happen to them? I sure hope not.

so I'm reading 75k.. Will it really be that or, huge dealer mark up?
Been thinking about a Z06, for the past few years, but may go this route. |
If GM only makes 1500ish...my money is on a sizable ADM similar to what Ford dealers were asking when the Boss and GT500 hit the market...only worse!

Just got on the chevy site to "order" a z/28, they are 75k without a/c. The only option I saw was a/c and body color! Thats how it should be.

Anyone know what the C7 Z06 base MSRP will be? If it comes in a little over the Z28 I think I'd rather own that. This new Z is awesome though!
