And the fuel system. It has some crazy fuel pressure I mean crazy high like 900psi. Iirc

More like 2000+psi. The in-tank pump feeds a camshaft driven mechanical high-pressure pump. The aftermarket has been struggling with mechanical fuel pumps to go really big on power.
By far the best bang-for-the-buck engine is, IMO, the LSA. Even though the Gen5 architecture is the latest thing, the LSA is still a great engine that can do everything well. |
